# Scribe vs SnapFind

The clearest difference is monetization model: Scribe at free with in-app purchases against SnapFind's subscription. Scribe also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 77%) and update cadence (every 4 days vs weekly). SnapFind's advantage is ratings volume (458 vs 4). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scribe sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and SnapFind sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scribe holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SnapFind has 458 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Scribe's written reviews are positive against 77% of SnapFind's.

Scribe ships an update every 4 days, SnapFind weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
