# Notebot vs Focus Timer

The clearest difference is rating: Focus Timer at 5.0 against Notebot's 4.2. Focus Timer also leads on ads (none vs shown). Notebot's advantage is ratings volume (21 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notebot sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Focus Timer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focus Timer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notebot has 21 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
