# HornScore vs ElkTracker

The clearest difference is rating: HornScore at 4.5 against ElkTracker's 1.0. HornScore also leads on ratings volume (38 vs 1). ElkTracker's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HornScore sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and ElkTracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $39.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HornScore holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HornScore has 38 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

HornScore ships an update every 2 weeks, ElkTracker every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
