# Note vs Rebyte

The clearest difference is rating: Rebyte at 5.0 against Note's 2.3. Rebyte also leads on ads (none vs shown). Note's advantage is ratings volume (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.5). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Note sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Rebyte sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rebyte holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 1 respectively.

Note ships an update every 11 days, Rebyte every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
