# Note vs LearnMap

The clearest difference is rating: LearnMap at 3.9 against Note's 2.3. LearnMap also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ratings volume (36 vs 4). Note's advantage is review sentiment (22% vs 0%) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Note sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. LearnMap asks for nothing beyond the download.

LearnMap holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LearnMap has 36 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of Note's written reviews are positive against 0% of LearnMap's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Note ships an update every 11 days, LearnMap every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
