# Note vs Color Notes

The clearest difference is rating: Note at 2.8 against Color Notes's 1.0. Note also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Note sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Color Notes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Note holds the better App Store score, 2.8 against 1.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 2 respectively.
