# Galactiv8 vs 963 Player Plus

The clearest difference is ads: 963 Player Plus at none against Galactiv8's shown. Galactiv8's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs paid). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Galactiv8 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and 963 Player Plus sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
