# Focus vs Transcriba

The clearest difference is monetization model: Focus at free with in-app purchases against Transcriba's subscription. Transcriba's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Transcriba sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
