# PREVO vs ScareScore

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ScareScore at none against PREVO's 2. ScareScore also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly). PREVO's advantage is ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PREVO sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. ScareScore asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for PREVO against 5.0 for ScareScore. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PREVO has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
