# GLTC Flex vs Megabus

The clearest difference is rating: GLTC Flex at 5.0 against Megabus's 3.0. Megabus's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GLTC Flex holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Megabus has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

GLTC Flex ships an update monthly, Megabus every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
