# Room Scanner vs ScrollMine

The clearest difference is rating: ScrollMine at 5.0 against Room Scanner's 3.4. Room Scanner's advantage is ratings volume (13 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Room Scanner sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ScrollMine sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ScrollMine holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Room Scanner has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
