# Pixel Forest vs five lines

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pixel Forest at every 5 days against five lines's every 10 days. Pixel Forest also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pixel Forest sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and five lines sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pixel Forest ships an update every 5 days, five lines every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
