# Dancy vs Bracket Maker

The clearest difference is rating: Dancy at 4.3 against Bracket Maker's 1.0. Dancy also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). Bracket Maker's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dancy sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Bracket Maker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dancy holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dancy has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Dancy ships an update every 3 days, Bracket Maker every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
