# Skillsta vs Micro Learning

The clearest difference is ads: Skillsta at none against Micro Learning's shown. Skillsta also leads on review sentiment (58% vs 45%). Micro Learning's advantage is ratings volume (61K vs 3.5K) and chart position (#54 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Skillsta sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Micro Learning sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Skillsta against 4.5 for Micro Learning. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Micro Learning has 61K ratings behind it against 3.5K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 58% of Skillsta's written reviews are positive against 45% of Micro Learning's.

Skillsta ships an update every 6 days, Micro Learning weekly. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
