# NxtPlan vs Notch

The clearest difference is update cadence: Notch at weekly against NxtPlan's every 15 months. NxtPlan's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NxtPlan ships an update every 15 months, Notch weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
