# Postnote vs Note

The clearest difference is update cadence: Note at every 11 days against Postnote's every 6 weeks. Note also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Postnote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Note sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Postnote ships an update every 6 weeks, Note every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
