# Postnote vs TheGrey.app

The clearest difference is update cadence: TheGrey.app at every 3 days against Postnote's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Postnote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and TheGrey.app sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Postnote ships an update monthly, TheGrey.app every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
