# Postnote vs Foxlore

The clearest difference is update cadence: Foxlore at weekly against Postnote's every 6 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Postnote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Foxlore sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Postnote ships an update every 6 weeks, Foxlore weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
