# Tom VPN vs Lest

The clearest difference is rating: Lest at 5.0 against Tom VPN's 4.5. Lest also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 84%). Tom VPN's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tom VPN sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Lest sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lest holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tom VPN has 1.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 84% of Tom VPN's written reviews are positive against 100% of Lest's.
