# Tom VPN vs Kuvix

The clearest difference is ads: Kuvix at none against Tom VPN's shown. Kuvix also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 84%). Tom VPN's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 88). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tom VPN sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Kuvix sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Tom VPN against 4.5 for Kuvix. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tom VPN has 1.5K ratings behind it against 88, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 84% of Tom VPN's written reviews are positive against 100% of Kuvix's.
