# Note vs Bookmark App

The clearest difference is rating: Bookmark App at 4.4 against Note's 3.0. Bookmark App also leads on ratings volume (13 vs 2). Note's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 58%) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Note sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Bookmark App sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bookmark App holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bookmark App has 13 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Note's written reviews are positive against 58% of Bookmark App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Note ships an update every 9 days, Bookmark App every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
