# Note vs Privy

The clearest difference is update cadence: Note at every 9 days against Privy's every 3 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Note sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Privy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Note ships an update every 9 days, Privy every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
