# Simply Read Notes vs NoteTrail

The clearest difference is device support: Simply Read Notes at 3 against NoteTrail's 1. Simply Read Notes also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Simply Read Notes sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and NoteTrail sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
