# Backpack Viking vs WebFishing Cat

The clearest difference is rating: Backpack Viking at 4.5 against WebFishing Cat's 3.0. Backpack Viking also leads on ratings volume (338 vs 4). WebFishing Cat's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 11) and ads (none vs shown). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Backpack Viking sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. WebFishing Cat asks for nothing beyond the download.

Backpack Viking holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Backpack Viking has 338 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of Backpack Viking's written reviews are positive against 33% of WebFishing Cat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
