# Control vs SavefromNet

The clearest difference is rating: Control at 5.0 against SavefromNet's 4.3. Control also leads on ads (none vs shown). SavefromNet's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (36 vs 3). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Control holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SavefromNet has 36 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Control ships an update every 6 weeks, SavefromNet every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
