# AR LOG vs Soyomo

The clearest difference is rating: AR LOG at 5.0 against Soyomo's 2.7. AR LOG also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). Soyomo's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AR LOG holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Soyomo has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AR LOG ships an update fortnightly, Soyomo every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and September 22, 2026 respectively.
