# Popt Notes vs Jot

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Popt Notes at none against Jot's 1. Popt Notes also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 89%). Jot's advantage is ratings volume (45 vs 4) and device support (4 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Jot sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Popt Notes asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Popt Notes against 4.9 for Jot. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Jot has 45 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
