# Flashcard Hero vs DUNY Mobile

The clearest difference is price: DUNY Mobile at Free against Flashcard Hero's $4.99. DUNY Mobile also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 92%). Flashcard Hero's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 2.3) and update cadence (monthly vs every 22 months). On ads, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

DUNY Mobile is free to download; Flashcard Hero costs $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Flashcard Hero holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flashcard Hero has 884 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of Flashcard Hero's written reviews are positive against 100% of DUNY Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Flashcard Hero ships an update monthly, DUNY Mobile every 22 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
