# Watch Collector vs Reference

The clearest difference is update cadence: Reference at every 2 days against Watch Collector's every 5 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Watch Collector sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Reference sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Watch Collector ships an update every 5 days, Reference every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
