# SELECT Card vs Orchid Platform

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SELECT Card at none against Orchid Platform's 4. SELECT Card also leads on ratings volume (1.1K vs 5). Orchid Platform's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Orchid Platform sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. SELECT Card asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for SELECT Card against 5.0 for Orchid Platform. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SELECT Card has 1.1K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
