# Hova vs PepTimer

The clearest difference is update cadence: PepTimer at every 3 days against Hova's every 3 weeks. PepTimer also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hova sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and PepTimer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hova ships an update every 3 weeks, PepTimer every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
