# Mimir vs Wick

The clearest difference is monetization model: Wick at free against Mimir's free with in-app purchases. Wick also leads on review sentiment (63% vs 55%) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 26.1). Mimir's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.2). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mimir sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and Wick sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mimir holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 93 and 74 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of Mimir's written reviews are positive against 63% of Wick's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 8 days. Both last shipped on October 17, 2026.
