# FIXR vs ODEON

The clearest difference is review sentiment: FIXR at 73% against ODEON's 26%. FIXR also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). ODEON's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 2.7) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ODEON holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ODEON has 49K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of FIXR's written reviews are positive against 26% of ODEON's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FIXR ships an update every 3 weeks, ODEON every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
