# PDF to JPEG ™ vs Lock Screen Note

The clearest difference is ads: Lock Screen Note at none against PDF to JPEG ™'s shown. Lock Screen Note also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). PDF to JPEG ™'s advantage is review sentiment (83% vs 50%) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PDF to JPEG ™ sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Lock Screen Note sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lock Screen Note holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 44 and 25 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of PDF to JPEG ™'s written reviews are positive against 50% of Lock Screen Note's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PDF to JPEG ™ ships an update every 2 months, Lock Screen Note every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 3, 2026 and September 22, 2026 respectively.
