# Acurast vs Uplink App

Acurast and Uplink App both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 96% of Acurast's written reviews are positive against 59% of Uplink App's. Acurast also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Uplink App holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Acurast has 206 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 96% of Acurast's written reviews are positive against 59% of Uplink App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Acurast ships an update every 3 weeks, Uplink App every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
