# CLPSS vs BigShorts

The clearest difference is update cadence: BigShorts at every 3 weeks against CLPSS's every 3 months. CLPSS's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CLPSS ships an update every 3 months, BigShorts every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
