# Isometric vs Handstract

The clearest difference is rating: Isometric at 4.8 against Handstract's 4.4. Isometric also leads on ratings volume (201 vs 37) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). Handstract's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Isometric sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Handstract sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Isometric holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Isometric has 201 ratings behind it against 37, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 83% of Isometric's written reviews are positive against 75% of Handstract's.

Isometric ships an update every 2 months, Handstract every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on August 18, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
