# Isometric vs Centroid pixel

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Isometric at 83% against Centroid pixel's 42%. Isometric also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (201 vs 6). Centroid pixel's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Isometric sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Centroid pixel sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Isometric holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Isometric has 201 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 83% of Isometric's written reviews are positive against 42% of Centroid pixel's.

Isometric ships an update every 2 months, Centroid pixel weekly. The most recent releases landed on August 18, 2026 and September 8, 2026 respectively.
