# Spotr vs AVIX

The clearest difference is monetization model: AVIX at free with in-app purchases against Spotr's subscription. Spotr's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 11 days). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spotr sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and AVIX sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Spotr holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 640 and 272 respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 61% of Spotr's written reviews are positive against 58% of AVIX's.

Spotr ships an update every 2 days, AVIX every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
