# Spotr vs Strongsplit

The clearest difference is update cadence: Spotr at every 2 days against Strongsplit's fortnightly. Spotr also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (640 vs 75). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spotr sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Strongsplit sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Spotr holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Spotr has 640 ratings behind it against 75, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 61% of Spotr's written reviews are positive against 54% of Strongsplit's.

Spotr ships an update every 2 days, Strongsplit fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
