# CalcFlex vs FormulaPad

The clearest difference is update cadence: CalcFlex at every 9 days against FormulaPad's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CalcFlex sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and FormulaPad sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CalcFlex ships an update every 9 days, FormulaPad every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
