# VPN Security vs Landlock

The clearest difference is ads: Landlock at none against VPN Security's shown. VPN Security's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and device support (3 vs 1). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN Security sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per 7 days and Landlock sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VPN Security ships an update fortnightly, Landlock every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
