# Paylocity vs Accel Mobile

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Paylocity at 688K against Accel Mobile's 2. Paylocity also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and chart position (#22 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Accel Mobile holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Paylocity has 688K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
