# Resolution Changer vs Screen Recording ™

The clearest difference is update cadence: Resolution Changer at fortnightly against Screen Recording ™'s every 3 months. Resolution Changer also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 75%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Screen Recording ™'s advantage is ratings volume (67 vs 10). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Resolution Changer sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Screen Recording ™ sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Resolution Changer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Screen Recording ™ has 67 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two.
