# Aqua Rush! vs Pen Perfect

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Pen Perfect at none against Aqua Rush!'s 13. Pen Perfect also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Aqua Rush!'s advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 16). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Aqua Rush! sells 13 one-off in-app purchases. Pen Perfect asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Aqua Rush! against 4.8 for Pen Perfect. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Aqua Rush! has 1.3K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Aqua Rush! ships an update weekly, Pen Perfect every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
