# Savespace vs WrittenWords

The clearest difference is update cadence: WrittenWords at daily against Savespace's every 3 days. Savespace's advantage is ratings volume (113 vs 8). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Savespace sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and WrittenWords sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WrittenWords holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Savespace has 113 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Savespace ships an update every 3 days, WrittenWords daily. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
