# Super QR vs Generate

The clearest difference is update cadence: Super QR at weekly against Generate's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Super QR sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Generate sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Super QR ships an update weekly, Generate fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
