# Super QR vs QR Generator

The clearest difference is update cadence: Super QR at weekly against QR Generator's every 7 months. Super QR also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Super QR sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and QR Generator sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Super QR ships an update weekly, QR Generator every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
