# Hush vs Linger

The clearest difference is rating: Linger at 5.0 against Hush's 4.1. Linger also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly). Hush's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hush sells 27 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Linger sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Linger holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hush has 1.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Hush ships an update weekly, Linger every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
