# Hush vs REF

The clearest difference is review sentiment: REF at 100% against Hush's 8%. REF also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.1) and ads (none vs shown). Hush's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 3). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hush sells 27 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and REF sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

REF holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hush has 1.5K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 8% of Hush's written reviews are positive against 100% of REF's.
